In 2020, TouchDisplays developed a cooperative production base on an outsourcing processing plant (TCL Group Company), achieving a monthly production capacity of more than 15,000 units.

TCL was established in 1981 as one of China’s first joint venture companies. TCL started out producing magnetic tape and eventually expanded the business to smart terminals production, semiconductor displays, semiconductor photovoltaics and semiconductor materials, industrial finance and investment. This cooperation will surely become another huge boost for increasing TouchDisplays production capacity.

In the same year, TouchDisplays launched high-end customized 21.5 inch desktop POS terminal product line.

This POS product has a built-in reserve battery, which means that it can run independently for a period of time when the power supply fails due to a failure, ensuring the stability of work. The function of embedded printer is adopted as well, making the peripheral device be integrated into the POS machine. In addition, the structure design that the machine can be repaired without disassembly is adopted to provide higher durability. Furthermore, the packaging design has also been further improved, adopting a reinforced aviation independent packaging. It allows the product to be strongly protected during international long-distance transportation and safeguards the interests of both parties.
